Protect Jobs, Communities, and Our Loved Ones by Opposing Online Gaming

iGaming threatens our economy, our health, displaces jobs and weakens oversight of responsible practices.

Here's what we're doing about it.

Who We Are

Champions of
Local Communities,
Small Business and

Responsible Gaming

The National Association Against iGaming (NAAiG) is a coalition of local businesses, industry veterans, community advocates and concerned citizens united to safeguard our communities from the harmful impacts of online gambling. Founded to address the growing threats posed by iGaming, we are dedicated to preserving local jobs, ensuring economic stability and promoting safe, responsible gaming practices.

We support in-person, legal gaming because it is highly regulated and prioritizes the safety and well-being of communities. Unlike online gaming, in-person gaming provides effective safeguards to prevent underage gambling, limit excessive access, and address problem gambling through established support programs. Additionally, in-person gaming drives local economic growth by generating stable jobs and reinvesting revenues into schools, infrastructure, and public services. By promoting responsible, community-focused gaming, we help create a stronger, more resilient future for all.

Why We Stand
Against iGaming

The rapid expansion of iGaming has created a pressing need for action. Across the globe, communities are witnessing:

  • Rising rates of gambling addiction, particularly among young adults.
  • Financial instability in families, driven by the unchecked accessibility of online gambling.
  • Thousands of family-supporting jobs lost as visits to in-person gaming plummet.
  • Declines in tax revenues and public funding as online operators shift profits out of state.

We saw first hand how these impacts erode the foundations of our local economies, harm vulnerable populations and strip away the accountability that physical gaming establishments provide. NAAiG was founded to bring awareness and champion a future that puts people ahead of online profits.

What We
Advocate Against

NAAiG is committed to fighting the proliferation of iGaming, which poses these critical dangers:

  • Addiction: iGaming’s 24/7 availability and constant betting action encourages impulsive behaviors, with addiction rates spiking in regions where online gambling is legalized.
  • Mental Health Risks: Anonymous, isolated gambling exacerbates anxiety, depression, and stress, leaving players without immediate support.
  • Economic Damage: Online gambling drains net revenue from local and state economies, leaving families, employees, small businesses, and public services to bear the burden.
  • Harms the Most Vulnerable: iGaming’s oversight is easily evaded, enabling predatory practices, underage gaming, and fraud, while disproportionately targeting vulnerable populations through advanced technology.
Our Mission

We believe in a gaming industry that builds up communities, not isolates them.

our vision is clear

Local Jobs Matter

Physical casinos and in-person gaming is vital to local economies, creating meaningful jobs across industries like hospitality, security, marketing, finance, accounting, IT, electronics and more. These careers provide stability for families and opportunities for growth, unlike iGaming, which shifts jobs to automated systems and remote operations.

Responsible Gaming

In-person gaming is monitored by trained professionals, ensuring safety, fairness and accountability. Unlike iGaming, which is done in secret and 24/7, physical casinos offer secure, community-focused environments that reduce addition, fraud risks, and the misuse of AI to target people and specific demographics.

Support Communities

Physical casinos reinvest revenues into schools, infrastructure, local events and public safety. By contrast, iGaming often funnels profits out of state, depriving communities of vital resources and funding.
